Come with me on this journey from Uzbekistan to Turkey aboard Kazakhstan's largest airline: Air Astana! Air Astana is a well respected carrier that we don't hear much about in the U.S.A., so I was eager for an opportunity to travel with them. Fortunately, I was able to book a flight with Kazakhstan's Flag Carrier from Tashkent to Istanbul, with a short connection in Almaty. This ended up being a nice trip and well worth having to connect through Kazakhstan. Apparently, Air Astana is going to receive some 787-9s in a few years. It'll definitely be interesting to see the routes they end up flying with those wide bodies. Watch the video for more!
