In this episode I explore the topic of who owns the UK coastal zone and how this might change in the future according to UK legal system. I only scratched the surface of this topic by explaining why I think this is relevant to all of us living in the UK, regardless if we own land next to the coast or not, how the land ownership change is captured in the property law and why the specific case of Montrose golf course erosion is important as it might set precedent in Scottish law.
