North Carolina leveraged hot shooting from long-range in the first half to get out to a large lead and defeat the Florida State Seminoles, 77-66. R.J. Davis led the Tar Heels in scoring with 19 points. Leaky Black scored 18 and grabbed 9 rebounds, Pete Nance scored 15 and hauled in 10 rebounds and Caleb Love scored 16 points for UNC in the win. The Tar Heels shot 48.3% from 3-point land. Caleb Mills led the Seminoles with 19 points and added 6 rebounds, and Matthew Cleveland scored 12 to go along with 9 rebounds in defeat.
