1:10 You are at at the CSX Middle Road crossing on the east side of Dunkirk, New York as a CSX train pulled by four BNSF engines passes. This was a combination empty coal train and an empty tank car train. I did find information on CSX train #K023. CSX train #K023 is an as needed train of empty tank cars from Linden, New Jersey to the BNSF at Cicero, Illinois.
4:13 We hear the CSX defect detector at Mile Post #28.9 at Irving, New York report that there are no defects on the CSX train #K685 that is approaching your location with two Canadian National engines pulling a load of empty tank cars. CSX train #K685 is an as needed train of empty ethanol cars from Sewaren, New Jersey to Clearing Yard in Chicago, Illinois for a connection to the Canadian National. In the notes referencing this train in the CSX Train Symbols list, there is a reference that reads: "Ethanol empties. CN U70391". I presume that CN number may refer to the CN train that CSX train #K685 becomes once it is handed off the the CS. I am guessing that you were somewhere near Silver Creek, New York when you made this portion of the video. After this train passed, you drove around and at 8:05 you start to drive under the CSX tracks through an arched roadway that had a date of 1905 on the top of the arch supporting the CSX tracks. You did indicate the this 1905 arched roadway was built when the number of tracks above the roadway was increased at that time period. Thank you for the views of the sunset over Lake Erie. The sunset was beautiful.
8:40 You are at Robin and West Third Streets as an eastbound CSX intermodal train with a mid-train DPU passes.
10:38 You are in Sunset Bay, New York at the Allegheny Avenue crossing of the Norfolk Southern tracks as an eastbound Norfolk Southern intermodal train passes. After the Norfolk Southern train passes, you proceed toward U. S. 20 and cross the CSX tracks where you pan to the east to show us the CSX bridges over Cattaraugus Creek.
13:12 You are at the entrance to the parking lot on the southeast corner of Park Avenue and East Third Street as westbound CSX mixed freight train #Q567 passes. This train is a daily train from Oak Island, New Jersey to Rougemere Yard in Detroit, Michigan. This train works New Boston, Michigan.
