PM Modi discussed the strategy for the vaccine distribution with the CMs of different states. In the virtual meeting, PM Modi stressed on localised approach rather than monitoring the trends at a state level. PM Modi also called for bringing the fatality rate below 1% to fight off COVID-19. He also cited people’s carelessness about the protocols which led to the spike in the number of cases.
