Note: See the Trail Dashboard at the end that gives detailed information about the Table Rock Trail, including how it scored on four difficulty components.
In November we traveled to South Carolina to tackle the state’s toughest and most scenic hike at Table Rock State Park. Located on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the park’s namesake, Table Rock, is actually the second highest peak within park boundaries - with nearby Pinnacle laying claim to the title of tallest. In addition to these two summits, the park encompasses over 3,000 acres including a nature center, picnic shelters, a lodge, and a campground complete with log cabins. Its lakes, streams, and waterfalls provide the perfect backdrop for the many miles of beautiful trails the park has to offer.
