We visited Vortex Spring, in Ponce De Leon, Florida this week, and I took the chance to fly my drone from one end to the other, and back. The sun wasn't out, and it was late in the evening, so the water doesn't look as blue as normal, but is still gorgeous, and you can see the clarity of it, how clear it is. There are many fish too, some quite large, that aren't very discernible from the air, but I was surprised how many fish were in the spring!

In addition to the fun things like the jump platforms, swings, slides, and diving boards, this spring is a popular destination for Scuba divers, with a very deep cave, the entrance to you can see clearly in this video, in the large end of the spring.

The spring produces about 28-million gallons a day of crystal clear, 68-degree water, and the cave is at least 1642-ft (500m) long, and is accessible to 310-ft (94m), at which point further passage is blocked by a steel grate, due to being exceedingly dangerous.

The history of this is rather fascinating, so worth googling or looking up on Wikipedia for more details. We saw many divers while there, and it's obvious the facility is well setup for them, as well as family fun, in the above-ground, natural pool section of the spring.
