It was produced in collaboration with the Pakistan Television (PTV).
The cast included new comers of the time, such as Saleem Sheikh, Kiran, Aliya Kazmi, Hameed Waine, Mumtaz Musharraf, Azra Mansoor and Malik Faraz.
