Many children in foster care experience traumatic events, including abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. These traumatic events can affect a child long after they have been removed from the source of the trauma. This training will explore how parents can care for a child while being sensitive to their past traumatic experiences. This training is required for non-relative initial license and within the first-year after license for relative foster parents.
