In this episode we dig into the two Casio VX-4 ‘Pokecoms’ that we arrived from Japan in out last video. Both have had battery leakage one powered up with a missing row in the LCD. The other was dead to the world.
Part of the risk of buying ‘junk’ units from Japan is that they are truly junk and won’t be able to be repaired. It is still fun to dig into this Japanese market only units and see what makes them tick. Hopefully we’ll be able to fix them too. What horrors lurk beneath?
