How EASA and FAA Relate on the Human Factors Issue:
While the FAA is expected to eventually issue Human Factors requirements, the European Aviation Safety Agency already has Human Factors requirements. Those in the United States should direct their attention to the "Maintenance Annex Guidance" (MAG) document released in November of 2011. Specific to human factors training requirements is Section B of Appendix 1 (for U.S.-based Repair Stations), clause 17 (see page 98 of that document).
