Introducing some pretty big words into Drone Image Collection. Orthomosaic, Survey Mapping, even Photogrammetry. It's all about the images. Quality in... Quality out! You can use any Camera Drone that takes a stable image. Why should all the Big Boys have all the fun?

Step One: Plan your mission to take the best images possible. Proposals here (and elsewhere on the internet) are not steadfast rules. They are guidelines that can produce varying results given the inconsistent quality of Cameras and environmental conditions.

The most important thing is knowing how to plan and why. I'm learning as well and hope to bring you more easy to follow tutorial videos as I begin my journey. I promise not to get to technical.

Part 1 is all about understanding the concept and being able to understand the importance of planning.
In Part 2, we plan out a mission, capture the images and see the results.
