This film traces the story of the Center for Cancer Research (CCR) at MIT, which made seminal contributions to the understanding of cancer biology between its founding by Nobel Laureate Salvador Luria the early 1970s and its transition to become the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research in 2007. The film features numerous scientists sharing their perspectives on what made the CCR so successful, including Nobel Laureates Phillip Sharp, David Baltimore, James Watson and Harold Varmus; Koch Institute Director Tyler Jacks; CCR founding faculty members Herman Eisen, Nancy Hopkins, Richard Hynes, Robert Weinberg and David Housman; and others.
