The confessed assassin of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, 25-year-old Yigal Amir, was formally charged with murder on Tuesday.
His brother, Hagai, and a friend, Dror Adani, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Yigal Amir was charged with murder in the November 4 assassination of the Israeli prime minister, according to a charge sheet submitted to the Tel Aviv District Court.
According to the indictment, Amir decided sometime after the September 1993 Israel- PLO peace agreement to kill Yitzhak Rabin in order to prevent implementation of the accord.
Amir's brother, Hagai, and a friend, Dror Adani, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
The three suspects are to appear in court in person Wednesday morning to hear the charges.
On Monday, a military court indicted 1st Sergeant Eric Schwartz, accusing him of smuggling weapons from his army base and handing them to the Amir brothers.
Prosecutors asked that the Amir brothers and Adani be tried before three judges, and listed 43 witnesses for the prosecution in the charge sheet.
