According to gossip, the song "Bully" was recorded prior to the release of Marshall's most recent album to date, namely "Sun".
However, for some unknown (to me) reason the song was not included on the initial release of that album and, apparently, debuted on the semi-live British television show called "Later… with Jools Holland" (a man I am increasingly becoming aware of because of Cat Power's frequent appearances on that program)
According to Wiki:
On April 10, 2013, Cat Power performed the previously unreleased track "Bully" on the premier episode of the forty-second series of Later… with Jools Holland. Immediately following the broadcast, a new version of the album containing "Bully" as a bonus track was made available for download through iTunes.
This version I have uploaded, however, is not from that TV show. It is from a French program called "Ce soir ou jamais" (EN: "Tonight or Never"), the meaning of which completely eludes me.
Anyhow, the show itself happens to broadcast at a 16:9 aspect, unlike this video which happens to be 2.25:1 [coincidentally (3/2)²]. On the television program it appears as though they've letterboxed the video to fit inside the 16:9 broadcast (there are black bars top and bottom - and more ads!)
