Scream 5 Final Trailer with new footage from scream 2022 featurettes and scream 5 TV spots for the upcoming horror movie starring Neve Campbell, Jenna Ortega. The new scream movie follows a Ghostface who targets Woodsboro teens related to the original killers and wears a metallic mask not shown in the official scream 5 trailer.
The long-awaited Scream 2022 reboot aka Scream 5 will kick off 2022's horror slate eleven years after Scream 4. The fifth movie in the franchise will be the first without horror movie legend Wes Craven.
While the new Scream will bring plenty of new faces to the franchise, the movie also boasts a plethora of characters who have previously taken on Ghostface and survived, including Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell, all reprising their roles from the first four films. Roger L. Jackson will also return to provide his vocal talents to the Ghostface mask, reprising his role from the previous Scream movies and the subsequent Scream anthology series. While details are still scarce on how the movie will play out, the most recent Scream trailer confirms that the new Ghostface is targeting relatives of previous killers in a twist on the franchise's formula.
Scream has always told its serial killer story with a cheeky wink, especially when compared to Craven's more traditional horror movies, so it's great to see the latest entry in the franchise is sticking to this formula that works so well. Honoring Craven is clearly an aspect that Bettinelli-Olpin is keen on achieving in his vision of the Scream franchise, and these fun and horrifying posters solidify that the director is on the right track. Ghostface will find his next victims when Scream arrives 2022.
