Today we’re giving you a peek of one of the many car shows that happen during the year. We love sharing about the community events in the Prescott area and today’s we’re at the 10th Annual “Cruise In For The Veterans” Car Show which is put on by volunteers with all proceeds going to local Veteran organizations. These funds improve the quality of life, meet immediate needs, and help with homelessness for Prescott area Veterans. There are raffles, drawings, silent auctions, music, food, beautiful cars of all ages, and a trophy presentation at the end of the day for all the winners voted on by the attending veterans.

“Cruise In For The Veterans” is a 501 (c)(3) all volunteer group, committed to raising funds to help local Veterans organizations and to raise awareness of the services they provide to Veterans in need.

The Veterans organizations that the “Cruise in for the Veteran’s” car show has donated to in past years includes the Northern Arizona VA, volunteer services, The Nation’s Finest, (formerly Northern Arizona Veterans Resource Center), US Vets Prescott and the Disabled American Veterans.

ANNUAL CAR SHOW
The annual car show/fundraiser combines two passions- helping Veterans and Classic Cars. The “Cruise in” event is motivated to make the car show bigger and better each year, increasing the fundraising from this event along with increased community and business involvement.

This year, there were 425 cars and trucks and we were able to catch just a few of them in this video. The car show is a great hit with visitors and Prescott residents as well. There is such a great variety of entrants from Camaros to corvettes, C-10s to Cab Over Engine trucks, Studebakers to Jeeps, Bread Trucks and Everything in between! Do you have a favorite?
