If you're from New Zealand or Australia, you've probably heard of that viral Kmart caddy hack. It's so popular that Kmart rarely every have stock of these caddies in store or online. I was lucky I was able to order some from online.
What you need:
- 2 x Kmart metal bathroom caddies (or something similar)
- Wooden planks to form the shelves. Ideally they would be around 19mm thick, 140mm wide, length can vary based on the space you intend to place it on.
The hack is pretty simple: take 2 bathroom caddies from kmart and insert some wooden planks in between them to make shelves. I'm using two narrow planks to form 1 shelf in the video because I ordered the wrong size. But normally you would want one plank that's around 14cm wide. There's still room for another shelf, but I decided to just have that one top shelf.
