PODCAST (the long story):

NOTES:
Below, I used to recommend “going manual” and switching from the electronic Canon mount to the manual aperture/focus Nikon version. THEN, I dropped my Panasonic G85 with the Viltrox NF-M43x (Nikon version) on, and BECAUSE OF THE IBIS, the sensor moved, impacted the rear optic of the Viltrox focal reducer, and SCRATCHED the sensor. Now, I’m not sure I even recommend the NIKON mount version (link to the whole story in the podcast above).
NOTES (ORIGINAL):
While I DO use (and highly recommend) the all-manual Nikon-mount version of the Viltrox Micro Four Thirds focal reducer (the NF-M43x) it appears the electronic version has ruined my Panasonic GX85 (it’s been glitching on the screen when I try to use AF after using it with a Canon-mount Sigma 17-50 2.8 EX). Other people are reporting problems with this adapter as well…
