In this video we drive to the port town of Killybegs which is the largest fishing port in the country. It is located on the south coast of the county, north of Donegal Bay, near Donegal Town. Its Irish name Na Cealla Beaga means 'little cells', a reference to early monastic settlements, but with the weather taking a turn we moved onto Donegal Town to see what it had to offer, where we got to see some fantastic local talent at the Donegal Music festival where we both experienced something we have never witnessed before, dance music classic anthems played on a banjo, however the place we chose to eat at didn’t even compare to a Tesco’s budget ready meal.
