The chocolate loaf cake recipe takes few minutes to cook and will fill your home with most chocolaty aroma. It is easy and wonderful sweet treat. It is also called as Chocolate Bread. It is rich in chocolate flavor, is fluffy and moist and has a good dose of chocolate chips. It's incredibly easy to make. This cake is lovely served still a little warm. INGREDIENTS
1. Chocolate - 1 cup
2. Butter - 100 grams : 1/4 cup + 3 tbsp
3. All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
4. Brown Sugar - 1/2 cup
5. White Sugar - 1/2 cup
6. Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
7. Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
8. Eggs - 2
9. Milk - 1/2 cup
10. Butter Milk - 1/2 cup
11. Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
12. Chocolate Chips - 1/4 cup
About Recipe:
Make a Batter - 5-10 minutes
Bake - 40-50 minutes (at 170 C)
Total time taken - 1 hour
Steps to prepare:
1. In a bowl, add 1 cup of chocolate and 100 grams (1/4 cup + 3 tbsp) of butter.
2. Place it in oven for 5 minutes at 50 C.
3. Later, combine it well and set this aside.
4. Take another bowl and prepare for dry mix : add 1 cup of All Purpose Flour, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
5. Mix all dry ingredients uniformly and set this aside.
6. Take another bowl and prepare for wet mix : 2 eggs & beat well, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of butter milk, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
7. Mix all wet ingredients.
8. Add butter chocolate mix[did on step 1 & step 2] into it and mix well.
9. Now, combine both wet and dry ingredients.
10. Use cut & fold method to mix the batter - combine well.
11. Add 1/4 cup of chocolate chips into the batter.
12. Give it a final mix.
13. Pour the batter in a loaf pan and tap to free the air bubbles.
14. Bake it in pre-heated oven for 40 minutes at 170 C.
15. Top with chocolate chips after take out from oven.
16. Let it cool completely.
17. Slice into pieces. BON APPETITE!
