Nami Island is a must visit place for K-drama and nature lovers. This is the location where "Winter Sonata" was filmed. You can get to this island from Seoul via private tours, public transit, or bike. If your time and energy allows, biking to Nami island is one of the most memorable things you can do in Korea. The island is beautiful in all four seasons, but especially so in the fall. Ferry departs for the island starting at 8am (ticket is cheapest for the 8am ferry: 10,000krw per person versus 16,000krw after 8am). The ticket price includes round trip ferry and admission. You can also zip line into the island, cost around $37 dollars per person, admission and return ferry also included in this price. Honestly, if you are down to splurge a little, zip lining is the best way. The island is filled with scenic natural view points, including the famous Ginkgo tree lane, Pine tree lane, and Metasequoia tree lane. There is also an obstacle course zone, an ostrich farm, and tons of wild rabbits and peacocks that roam freely. There are also restaurants and cafes on the island. To fully explore the island, you will need around 2.5 hours.
