My son for his 21st birthday requested a Gordon Ramsay dish called Leek & Gruyère Rösti, so I am not claiming this to be my recipe, but I will show you an in depth way of making this fantastic dish and to instill confidence in you that just because a world renowned chef makes a dish, does not mean that you should feel intimidated. YOU. CAN. DO IT.
INGREDIENTS (3 Servings)
3 Yukon Gold Potatoes
Pot of water filled to cover potatoes to par boil
3 Tbsp Butter
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Leeks
8 oz Gruyère Cheese (Shredded)
1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
1/4 tsp Black Pepper or to taste
5 Sprigs of Tarragon (Garnish)
6 Eggs (2 per person, sunny side up recommended)
6 Strips of Crispy Bacon (Optional but highly recommended)
