On June 21st, Edward Kang flew from Newark, NJ, to Jacksonville, FL.
to confront another online gamer, Zachary Dinh, over a heated exchange. Upon arrival, Kang purchased a hammer and flashlight from a hardware store which police later found the receipt for in his Fernandina Beach hotel room.
He proceeded to Mr. Dinh’s home early Sunday morning on June 23rd dressed entirely in black with gloves and wearing a mask.
Gaining entry through an unlocked door, Kang waited in the hallway for the victim to take a bathroom break from gaming.
When the victim stepped away from his game, Kang attacked!
