When connecting steel beams of different depths is to use a cleat angle, which attaches to the side of the deeper beam and extends over the shallower beam. Angles, and bolts are suitably designed for shear force. Secondary beam web is connected with two angles on both sides using bolts. And bolts are used to connect these beams with Main beam. The choice of method will depend on the specific requirements of the structure and the loads it will be subject to.
