These potato buns are soft and fluffy,light and airy and they makes the best hamburger buns and dinner rolls.
Potato bun stay soft for more days than a regular bun bread.Mashed potatoes makes those potato bun extra soft and fluffy.
You can also use sweet potatoes to make these potato buns.
INGREDIENTS
All Purpose Flour :325 g or 2 and half cups Loosely packed
Whole wheat flour : 90 g or 3/4 cup Loosely packed
Mashed potatoes : 310 g or 1 and 1/3 cup tightly packed
Yeast : 1 Tsp
Sugar : 2 tbsp or 25 g,You can add a few more tablespoons of sugar if you like sweeter buns.
Salt:1 and half tsp
Butter : 3 Tbsp or 42.6 g
Egg :1
Water or (Potato starch water or mix of both) :120 g/Half cup
METHOD:
1.Prepare the dough
2.First proofing(90 min)
3.Divide and shape the dough
4.Second proofing(30-35 min)
5 Bake the bread(350F for 20 -22 min)
