Chip and Potato wake to hear Tot giggling. When they go through to the nursery to see her, Tot stands up, on her own, for the first time! Momma announces that Chip’s little sister is ready to start sleeping in a “Chip Dip bed”. Chip is worried; she doesn’t want Tot to be given her bed. Potato suggests Chip should talk to Momma about it, but when Momma shows off Tot wearing Chip’s old onesie, Chip is determined that nothing else of hers should be given away, especially not her bed. With Potato’s reluctant help, Chip stacks her toys in front of her bedroom door to stop Momma and Poppa coming into her room and taking her bed. But soon, Chip and Potato are hungry, so Potato sneaks out through a hole in the door to fetch a picnic. Chip loves the pumpkin juice but after drinking it, she needs the bathroom…just as Momma opens the bedroom door, tumbling the toys. Chip finally talks to Momma who explains that Tot isn’t to be given Chip’s bed after all. She’s getting a bed the same as Chip’s!

Lovable pug Chip starts kindergarten, makes new friends and tries new things — with a little help from Potato, her secret mouse pal.
