This is my restoration of an English made, Stanley Bailey No.5 1/2 hand plane.

Many thanks to those who are much more knowledgeable about these hand planes. They've dated it to between 20 and 40 years old.

I'm privileged that I was asked by a friend to restore his fathers hand plane.

This is the first one I've restored. I hope I’ve done it justice.
