Primary computer with a USB-C output

Setup used in this video:
2020 Macbook Air with the M1 chip running BigSur 11.1
A late 2009 iMac running MacOS Yosemite (10.10.5)
So the process of connecting these computers is extremely simple:
First, just make sure your laptop is open and unlocked, and the iMac can either be on the login screen or already unlocked
Connect the Mini DisplayPort jack to the iMac
Connect the USB-C jack to the MacBook
