In this video we get hands on and discuss the incredibly exciting updates to the datejust range that Rolex brought out in 2022.

The motif dials created an incredible buzz around thew watch industry in 2022, when Rolex finally decided to grace the 41mm line with their most innovative dials, coming in the form of the fluted motif dials.

Over the years the 41mm Datejust has been neglected but Rolex in terms or dial styles and variants, whilst the smaller 36 and 31mm datejusts have had a wide array of external interesting and different dials for us collectors to choose from.

This happened once again in 2021 when Rolex introduced both the palm and fluted motif dials, but only in a 36mm. HOWEVER, in 2022 Rolex brought out the new 2022n motif dials in both 36 AND 41mm variants.

The 41mm motif dials took awhile to hit the market in the UK, the steel ones were available in 2022, however the bi metal, which are in my opinion the more exciting releases were not really available until the very end of 2022 / the start of 2023.

There was so much anticipation and excitement around them, and wow was it worth it. I am fortunate that UI am in the position to have got the whole set as well as the opportunity to have the first combo of the steel and rose fluted motif dials in the UK!

All I can say is the wait was worth it and I absolutely love them… watch the video to see them all and get my verdict.
