The HS-12L53 is a very powerful, horizontal wood splitter of the compact class. It has a real 12 ton splitting pressure and a very robust Kohler 6.5 HP OHV petrol engine.
The splitting pressure of our log splitters is measured directly at the splitting axe, so that this value corresponds to the actual splitting pressure. With many other suppliers, unrealistic values are given here, which are never achieved in practice.
The maximum length of the splitting material may be 53 cm.
The splitter is very easy to operate. The motor is very easy to start with a pull starter and starts very well even at sub-zero temperatures.
To make it easier to move the splitting machine, there is a drawbar on the machine (without ball-head holder). The unit is not approved for use behind a car. The use behind an agricultural or forestry tractor would not require approval and would therefore be legal (please observe road traffic regulations - light, number plate, etc.).
However, due to the small overall width of approx. 84 cm, you can also transport the unit on a conventional trailer.
We will supply you with a splitting wedge with the splitting wedge mounted, free of charge, and a splitting wedge which is simply pushed over the splitting wedge. A change between wedge and cross is thus completed in seconds!
With the splitting wedge or splitting wedge you can also split thicker logs with larger diameters in one operation. The special feature of this machine is that the splitting wedge/cross is firmly mounted and you press the log against it with the cylinder. If one piece clamps on the cross, it is usually enough to simply push the next piece! This allows you to work quickly and efficiently.
The hydraulic system is designed so that the splitting wedge can be stopped in any position and moved forwards or backwards as required. The force is always applied and the splitting wedge does not have to be repeatedly moved upwards to the starting position, as is the case with many competitor products.
The Jansen HS-12L53 is supplied with a high-quality Kohler motor.
