READ DESCRIPTION : This video is intended to be a guide to Metal, and include subgenres of Metal AND Metal-Adjacent genres. This is why there is classic Rock in the first section of the video, it serves as an introduction to the origins of Metal, and shows how early Rock evolved in more saturated subgenres which then allowed the emergence of Hard Rock and then Heavy Metal. This is also why there is an entire section of Punk subgenres. There's some that are scenes and not genres too, but who cares
So please don't bother me with comments like "Jethro Tull and Minor Threat aren't Metal wtf!!!!", I know that perfectly and that's the point.
Also, some of the these subgenres don't really exists, especially in the last section, but I included them for the fun, and to introduce people to weird and exotic bands they've never heard of.
