In this video I strip down the Subaru twin turbos and show you a progress update. I also explain the twin turbo system at the start of the video and the reason why i am swapping to a single turbo.
The Subaru Legacy twin turbo wasn’t perfected until the rev d. 2002 model. Before it was scrapped for the newer twin scroll version in the 2003 legacy.

The exhaust is way too restrictive and has too many valves controlling it. The new td05 turbo should spool by 3000rpm and bring peak torque much lower down the rpm range.
