As part of the induction for new students of planning, the School always organises a talk on London Planning, usually by a senior planner from City Hall. This year the planners were all on an away day so we used their slides to present their plan and then introduced the Just Space community-led Recovery Plan for London in which many of our students had participated as facilitators. This was followed by comments from a panel comprising Profs Jessica Ferm, Jennifer Robinson, Pablo Sendra, Dr Myfanwy Taylor and 2 representatives of Just Space, Lucy Rogers and Richard Lee. Some of the 200 students taking part then initiated an open discussion.
