Today I want to show you how to make short jackets.
I’ll make it very short, till the waist. You can make it longer if you want.
The design is pretty simple. I need just 1 detail for the back, and 2 details for the front.
I recommend making the 1st jacket of a modeling fabric. Do it to see if you like the design, to adjust a pattern perfectly.
What I want to do now is just to show you the needed sewing techniques.
I’ll cut the jacket, tack it and then I’ll try it on.
It won’t take you long to make such jackets.
You can make such jacket almost of any fabric you want.
Make a jacket longer if you want to wear it with pants or jeans. Such length is perfect for skirts and dresses.
