Loosely based on "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe.
THIS FILM IS A LOOSE INTERPRETATION!!! OK? Please don't bother telling us we weren't faithful to the original story. We knew that BEFORE we posted the film on youtube. We know the original isn't anything like our INTERPRETATION so take note. THIS FILM IS LOOSELY BASED ON THE STORY. "Loose" is the key word here. It's an INTERPRETATION! Got it? We know we've left some elements out. Take note and please don't bother commenting if all you have to say is that we didn't follow the original story. That was the whole point! This film is a LOOSE interpretation of the short story by Edgar Allan Poe.
LOOSE, LOOSE, LOOSE!!!
INTERPRETATION!!!!!
Also, please don't bother telling us that the cat isn't supposed to get his eye back. We KNOW the eye isn't supposed to grow back. This is what is known as a production MISTAKE. It's the kind of thing that is likely to happen when you are under a tight deadline. If YOU have never made a mistake in your life then you are not alive.
So, to recap:
1. This film differs from the source material. This is intentional.
2. The cat's eye grows back at 1:40. This is UNintentional.
3. Please do not bother to point out either of the two points above.
4. If you failed your english exam because you watched this film instead of reading the book, then that's YOUR fault!
5. All four of the above points were disregarded by many other people before you, so you are not going to be the first person to inform us that we suck.
Everything by Chris Turnbull and Dill Tasker.
