The true impact of augmented reality (AR) rests in its ability to breakdown the limits that people have put on themselves, or have been thrust upon them. Based on its ability to rapidly transfer knowledge to anyone, anywhere, AR can enable humans in a way that other technologies, like robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and even the web itself, cannot. In the coming years, advances in AR technology will fundamentally change how we work, how we learn, and how we live. Brian Mullins is a pioneer in the field of augmented reality, whose experience with Human Machine Interface and Computer Vision technologies enabled him to found DAQRI and develop its proprietary 4D technologies for the enterprise. Throughout his career, Brian has developed systems that employed some of the earliest vision-based mixed reality technologies.
