"I strongly recommend against blindly following what you see on social media, especially when it comes to travel. In just few days, you can explore and experience so many amazing places, but the key is to take your time and truly enjoy each moment. Don't rush through your travels just to get the perfect Instagram shot – that's not what travel is about. Instead, allow yourself to immerse in the local culture, try new foods, and meet new people. Don't let the pressure to capture the perfect picture ruin your trip. Remember, travel is about creating lasting memories, not just for the sake of a photo. So, slow down, be present, and enjoy every moment!"
1) First things first, if you're planning to stay in a hotel, book it online and inform them of your arrival time for a hassle-free pick-up. We paid almost 3900 for a taxi ride.
2)Getting a SIM card is easy. You can get one at the airport, and the price depends on how many GB you need.
3) I stayed at Pondok Moassas hotel in Ubud, and it was great! The price was 2900 Nepali rupees per night. To explore the city, you can hire a scooter for 700 Nepali rupees per day.
4)One of the must-do activities in Ubud is a quad bike tour. I paid 4250 Nepali rupees for it, and it was totally worth it!
5)If you want to save money on food, eat local food. We spent a lot of money on food, haha.
6) visited the monkey forest and paid 700 Nepali rupees for the entry fee. If you want to take a selfie with the monkeys, you'll need to pay extra.
7)Another famous spot in Ubud is the rice field, and I did the swing there for 1300 Nepali rupees. The staff was friendly and took great pictures for me.
8) we also visited a coffee farm and tasted Luwak coffee for 700 Nepali rupees. And then went to Tukad Cepung Cave Waterfall, which is a must-visit spot. It's best to go there in the morning for better pictures.
8) we went to Nusantara Restaurant, which is an authentic Indonesian restaurant. We spent 7000 Nepali rupees there, which is quite expensive.
9)On the third day, we had trouble with our ATM, so I suggest bringing cash, at least 1000 USD, to make things easier.
10) we also visited Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and paid almost 500 Nepali rupees. Near the lake, we tried the Bakso noodle soup for only 100 Nepali rupees, and it was delicious. Also tried durian fruit, which is a must-try in Bali.
11) In Ubud, there are plenty of local places to explore, and we enjoyed just walking around and soaking in the beautiful artsy vibe of the city.
