Russia is reportedly mustering a large number of troops in Ukraine's border regions to encircle and isolate major Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv.
On Sunday, according to CNN, Russian airstrikes hit a large military base near the northwestern city of Lviv, which is close to the Polish border.
Russian forces also made a third attempt to take the civilian airport at Ivano-Frankivsk.
On Saturday, Ukraine accused Russia of killing seven civilians, including a child, trying to flee fighting near Kyiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday that he'd proposed to the Prime Minister of Israel that negotiations with Russia to end the war... could be held in Jerusalem.
