This workshop will provide attendees with an introduction to veterinary forensic investigation of severe animal neglect. This case-based presentation will cover: underweight animals, animals that have experienced a lack of physical care and cases where there is a failure to provide veterinary medical care for medically compromised animals. Numerous resources available to assist veterinarians with animal cruelty case work will also be discussed.
