Todd and Elizabeth Medd share their story about their son Liam who passed away in February 2021. Liam was an active 15 year old boy, who excelled in academics, sports and band...a proud Davies Eagle...spending much of his time with his closest friends, always available when anyone needed him. Liam was an amazing big brother, always finding time to help, guide and play with his little sister. Liam lived a full life in a short period of time. He inspired and touched the hearts of so many.
Todd Medd, Liam's father said, "If I had to list a thousand things I was concerned about with Liam, mental health and suicide was never on that list." "The pressures that they have might be silent pressures." Elizabeth Medd, Liam's mother, said, "you can tell your parents or reach out to somebody because there is a lot of help...help you get through those darkest times."
Please join us in remembering Liam, and thanking Todd and Elizabeth for sharing their story, in hopes of helping other parents start a difficult conversation with their kids.
