27 January is a day of remembrance for the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism.
Parliament marks this day with an annual ceremony.
Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament, will open the ceremony which will be followed by a video and a musical interlude by Jenő Lisztes.
Israel’s President Isaac Herzog will then address the plenary.
The commemoration concludes with a minute of silence and a performance.
The International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust on 27 January was established by the United Nations in 2005 to honour the Holocaust and the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
