In the wake of Tucker Carlson's departure from Fox News, Vega seized the moment to condemn mainstream media's handling of significant global issues like the Nordstream pipeline and the war in Ukraine.
Vega accused the top editors of major U.S. newspapers, including Joe Kahn of The New York Times, of having no credibility with the public and failing to report the truth.
He demanded that the panelists acknowledge the importance of journalist Seymour Hersh and the fact that the mainstream press is dying.
