"With “Intruder”, we attempted to dive into the grisly mythology of Los Angeles - looking for a sound that echoes the spirited past of the city we’ve found ourselves living in."
Los Angeles-via-Sydney’s Death Bells — the long-running musical collaboration between Will Canning and Remy Veselis — have released a glamorous, ominous new single "Intruder," their first music since April's "Live From Bombay" ([ Ссылка ])
"Intruder" surfaces just ahead of the group’s Fall 2021 West Coast tour, from November 4th-18th. The song perfectly displays Canning’s exquisite baritone, with haunting lyrics set against the kinetic sonic backdrop provided by Veselis.

Lyrics:
The cadence is wrong,
The King's lost his son,
And I'm gone
These things left alone,
In the streets and at home,
Come undone
The words go unheard,
Just what they'd have preferred,
Anyway
This world is absurd,
But at least we've got an escape
Can't seem to hide it,
We stand divided,
Can't seem to hide it
We'll blister and burn,
Under the sun above,
There's no return,
Can't give it up
We'll blister and burn,
Under the sun above,
There's no return,
Can't give it up
Everything stalls,
Under the weight of control,
It's not your fault
There's purpose in this,
Eventual bliss,
Trust me
Can't seem to hide it,
We stand divided,
Can't seem to hide it
We'll blister and burn,
Under the sun above,
There's no return,
Can't give it up
We'll blister and burn,
Under the sun above,
There's no return,
Can't give it up
