Watch the multiple-award winning 26-minute doc Seeds for free! Breaking new ground upon its release in 1986, the film's content is especially timely today. Seeds explores a growing crisis in world agriculture where genetically engineered crops are replacing seed-saving practices farmers have employed for thousands of years. Today only a few large agro-chemical companies control the majority of seed production in the world and have eliminated many varieties.

"For 15,000 years of agriculture, nature and human nature have worked in partnership, creating the seeds of survival. They're the stuff of life."
"Seed is our past and our future. But now we reap our harvests on a battlefield waging war against the very forces that created them. We've achieved so much but now technology is driving us. Can we escape this trap? And achieve an agriculture that will feed the world without destroying it?"
