In today’s video we’ll be checking out the MK 47 Mutant, the latest addition to the 7.62x39 caliber in Escape from Tarkov. This weapon has been out for a while, and has received some nerfs but is still easily one of the most used weapons in Patch 12.11.

The benefits of the Mutant over other weapons in the AK series is that it is compatible with many mods and attachments that are more regularly seen on the AR style weapons such as the M4, which means that the Mutant can get to lower recoil overall.

We’ll be checking out the Mutant meta build which has the lowest recoil out of all the 7.62x39 weapons in Tarkov, as well as a few alterations for practical builds that you might want to run in raid.
