I was arrested back in August whilst protesting outside the Stradey Park hotel in Furnace, Llanelli.
I am yet to be charged with any crime. Police bail conditions, written by the custody sergeant, not the arresting officer, included not being able to protest about Stradey or indeed mention the subject anywhere online.
After appealing these bail conditions at Llanelli magistrates court the district judge agreed to lift these bail conditions since they go against my human rights. Just one of many such hearings of late and related to protesting at the hotel.
However to reach this point, legal documents needed to be handed into the court and the police station, for the hearing to be heard in the first place.
This video shows how difficult this was thanks to staff at the new police station in Dafen, Llanelli not willing to cooperate.
No public reception exists at this newly built police station.
Members of the public are expected to discuss sensitive information publicly on the street.
Dyfed Powys Police needs to look at providing the public with a fully accessible reception area at Dafen police station. And to also understand procedures where bail conditions can be legally challenged.
