In this course we are going to learn how make a trap beat in the style of producer Wheezy. Wheezy is one of the hottest producers in hip hop right now with his biggest hit being Yes Indeed with Lil Baby and Drake. In this course we talk about how to achieve his sound and make a beat that's ready to be rapped over.

Video 1 - Melody (10:16)

We use Omnisphere to make a dark trap melody that will be the basis for our whole beat.

Video 2 - Drums (09:26)

We talk about what kind of drum samples Wheezy likes to use, as well as what kind of patterns he makes to achieve his signature sound and feel.

Video 3 - Arranging the Beat (14:14)

Finally we take all of our elements and arrange the beat into something that's ready to have a rapper rap on.
