In this video I show you that you can also use the weaving loom that you use for bulky yarns for finer yarns. If you have a really lovely yarn that you would like to use, you can! And it’s not difficult at all. You actually have two choices. One is double (or even triple) your yarns and work like you’re working with bulky yarns, but you can also create a very fine weaving structure. This last option is quite some extra work compared to working with bulky yarns, but definitely worth your while. At the end of this video I mention the finishing with a crochet border, but that is in a separate video that will be launched soon!
This video is part of the series ‘weaving on a pin loom’, that explains how to weave with a continuous strand of yarn, on the bias. In the previous video’s I showed in much detail how to do every single step, you can find that in the playlist that this video also is part of.
I did this on my selfmade pin loom, of which I also made a video how to make that, but you can do this on any square loom.
I also made a elaborate tutorial on my website, with drawings and pictures, that also help you through the weaving process step by step. The link to this page: [ Ссылка ].
For more information about this loom you can also look at my website on this page: [ Ссылка ]. Everything is described there in detail.
On my website you can also find tutorials on how to weave with step-by-step instructions. Just go the menu Weaving, Pin loom, and choose from the subjects there (work in progress while also working on the video's, so please be patient if it is still a bit empty!)
This video has English subtitles, so you can switch that on if you prefer to read what I'm saying.
