Micron-3 helicopter belongs to the class of ultralight helicopters. Constructed as a coaxial design, it is characterized by small dimensions, high maneuverability and stability.

RD-HELI company is named in honor of Dmitry Rakitsky and is the successor of the MICRON series light helicopters development.
The MICRON helicopter development initiators are Valery Shokhov and Dmitry Rakitsky.
The MICRON helicopter development and production was started in 2015 under the guidance of its Chief Designer Valery Shokhov.

The helicopter first version successfully passed all the tests and became the starting point for creation of subsequent modifications.


The Certificate obtaining is not required for ultralight aircrafts with “empty” weight (construction’s weight) of 115kg and less!

A similar procedure is valid in the United States.

Government regulations of United States (FAR part 103) classify an aircraft as "ultralight" in case of it's following characteristics: a single-seat vehicle with an engine, with a fuel reserve of less than 5 gallons (19 liters), a dry weight of no more than 256 pounds (115 kg), an upper speed limit of 55 knots (102 km/h) and a stall speed of no more than 24 knots (45 km/h).
